ILSC Student Ranked in the Top 30% in Vancouver

Rachel Kim is Ranked in the Top 30% for Soft Skills
In college, soft skills like communication, teamwork, and problem-solving are essential for academic and personal success. These skills help students effectively collaborate on projects, engage in meaningful discussions, and manage their time and responsibilities. Developing strong soft skills can enhance a student’s ability to work well with peers, adapt to diverse environments, and prepare for future careers.
Rachel Kim, an ILSC student, joined VANSTU EVENTS as a student volunteer in July 2024. She actively participated in volunteer duties, organized events, and collaborated with student representatives from over 50 colleges across Vancouver.
Based on her interactions and activities, here are the results of her soft skills measurement on the BASE platform, which uses cutting-edge AI algorithms to quantify students’ soft skill levels:
Out of 2,708 students, she is ranked:
- Top 12% in Social Skills
- Top 21% in Communication
- Top 22% in Influence
- Top 23% in Collaboration
- Top 27% in Responsiveness
